Washington, Oct. 13, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The Social Security Administration has announced an 8.7 percent cost-of-living adjustment (COLA) for Social Security and Supplemental Security Income (SSI) benefits on Thursday, October 13. This adjustment is one of the highest COLAs in many years. (The highest COLA in Social Security history was in 1980 at 14.3 percent.
