Warner Bros. Pictures Animation and WaterTower Music Release the Theme Song From THE CAT IN THE HAT
Warner Bros. Pictures Animation and WaterTower Music today released “The Cat in the Hat Theme Song,” an original song at the center of THE CAT IN THE HAT, the studio's first full-length feature film and the beloved character’s animated theatrical feature film debut, in theaters and IMAX® November 6. Written by Tim Minchin and performed by FITZ & Tim Minchin featuring Bill Hader as the Cat, the track is produced by GRAMMY Award winning composer Lorne Balfe and Minchin. Balfe also composed the film's score. The full soundtrack album arrives from WaterTower Music on October 30, 2026.

Warner Bros. Pictures Animation has tapped Shane Prigmore to serve as Senior Creative Advisor for the newly relaunched film unit, it was announced today by Bill Damaschke, President of Warner Bros. Pictures Animation.
